Say hello to our fermented friend 🧡 After reading about fermentation in @tim.spector Food for Life I was fascinated by how these foods are essential for promoting gut health 👍 due to their high probiotic content which supports a diverse and robust microbiome, ultimately enhancing digestion and immune function 👌 Kimchi is a DELICIOUS mix of chunky veg in a salty, spicy, bittersweet, acidic and umami-fied concoction... This can be added as a side with your avo toast/creamy mushrooms OR as an indulgent toastie 🤌 SIDENOTE : coffee also has elements of fermentation during it's processing and boasts high levels of antioxidants/polyphenols which in turn support gut health and help reduce chronic inflammation 🤟 (it also tastes rather nice and helps you get stuff done)

¡Buenos días! 👋 WE ARE BACK and firstly I just want to give a excited shout out to the people at @indycoffeeguide for included us in their South of England coffee guide (available for purchase at the coffee shop and online)✌️ In other news : After another wonderful Latin American adventure, we have some spicy plans for our evening sessions starting in two weeks time, we are plotting away behind closed doors, so #watchthisspace 👉 We also LOVED our travels in this beautiful part of the world so much along with their amazing coffee produce that we have finally decided to only source our coffees from Central and South America once our Ethiopian runs out NEW COFFEE COMING SOON 🌎 You will have met our new staff members whilst we've been away who along with the existing team have kept the shop thriving, they have all done us SO proud and we are beyond greatful to the Kin Coffee Crew 🙏 LASTLY (some housekeeping) please note that it's Easter and we will be opening 10-2 GOOD FRIDAY 8-3 SAT 10-2 SUN 10-2 EASTER MONDAY 🐣 Thank you all for continuing to support our little roastery and coffee shop, we vow to put our heart and soul into everything we do so that we can bring London quality coffee and sunny Latino vibes to little Staplehurst 🫡
